Description:	Before the period of Collonization of 1734, the islands were covered in thick vegetation , with high robust trees. Deforestation took place in order to allow for a major exploitation of the land. Other than Capo do Bosco there were other areas with a rich and luxurious vegetation ( holm-oak, savin etc)
