CALA BRIGANTINA - PUNTA VARDELLA

Cove of Brigantina - Point Vardella
Description: Entering Palmarola on the left hand side there is the stack of Mezzogiorno and on the right is the Punta Vardella.
Cala Brigantina: is known as such since it offered sailors a dock to anchor. Palmarola in the 18th century was still an important base for barbarian pirates. In this area from autumn until spring hundreds of peewit gulls and pregrin hawk nest here.
